Broker
Diane Weatherman has been a licensed realtor for 15 years, the past 4 years she has been a managing broker in Seeley Lake. Diane and her husband Larry grew up in Montana and have lived in and around Missoula for 43 years. Seven years ago they made Seeley Lake their full time home. They are the parents of three grown children and 5 grandchildren and love their roles as Nana and Papa. Diane enjoys showing clients the Seeley Swan valley where she is continually in awe of this very special place. The business of real estate is interesting, challenging and rewarding. Clients and colleagues become lifetime friends, their respect, her greatest reward.
SPECIALTIES
Recreational, Water properties, Residential, Bare land and Investment Property
The market that I work and love is the Seeley/Swan valley, Potomac to Ovando, Seeley Lake to Swan Lake and all of the back roads in between. In this very special place where wilderness still exists we care about preserving it. As a part of “The Crown of the Continent,” we are land stewards to “The Last Best Place.”

BACKGROUND
I grew up in Great Falls, Montana where the mountains are more distant. It was there that I came to love the Buttes, rolling hills, fields of wheat and those Charlie Russell skies. We visited the Seeley Lake area most summers. The same campground where I picked wild strawberries and went swimming with my Dad is where I now take our grandchildren. My husband and I have owned property here for 30 years and 7 years ago made it our full time home. I never tire of the view of the Swan Range from our home. Seeley is still a Montana community where everyone knows your name and the local florist doesn’t need your address.
A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS
The small towns and back country roads of Montana.
Ghost towns and old graveyards.
Yellowstone Park in winter.
Campfires with the grandchildren, reading them stories, trying to beat them in tic tac toe and Old Maid, listening to their prayers.
The drive to Missoula, seeing eagles and hawks in flight, elk, deer and rocky mountain sheep grazing near the highway.
The sound of coyotes and the wind through the trees.
The 4th of July and Winterest parades.
Fish jumping, geese honking, swans gliding and loons with a chick on their back.
Wild flowers everywhere, lupine, beargrass, paintbrush and glacier lilly.
I love quaking aspen and our larch trees that turn golden in the fall and then drop their needles.
The snowy, quiet winters.
We are a small Montana town that lives big, you will love it here.
